Women in Science: We can have it all! ♥ This session is recommended for post-docs, but open to all ♥ Dr. Lilian Peters (post-doctoral researcher at Midwifery Science Department (VUmc), Midwifery Science section of the General Practice department (UMCG), School of Nursing and Midwifery (Western Sydney University)) Dr. Esther Metting (post-doctoral researcher at the Groningen Research Institute of Asthma and COPD Primary care group (GRIAC-PC) at the General Practice department (RUG) Are you wondering how other women are successful in science and have a family? How do these Women in Science balance their work & family life? During this workshop, you will discuss different approaches with two epidemiologists who have gone down this road themselves (dr. Lilian Peters and dr. Esther Metting). The point of their workshop is to convince you that you can have children and still be a fabulous Woman Of Science. Hmm, would it be weird if we had sessions for men about being a dad and staying in science?!
