Daniela Salvatori, chair of Transition Programme animal-free Innovations Utrecht, and Janneke Hogervorst (PETA UK) invite you to a two day kick-off session for a global education hub on animal-free innovations. This hub helps facilitate the creation, collection, spreading and uptake of knowledge and practices on education in animal-free innovation for both students and professionals, within and outside of academia.We invite everyone with an interest in animal-free education and education about animal-free research. You can have a background in e.g. medicine or veterinary medicine, life sciences, toxicology or pharmacy. You can be a student, young scientist, established scientist, teacher, trainer, educational curriculum developer, etc. You can be affiliated with academia, industry, regulatory bodies, NGOs, etc.
On 29 and 30 November, we are organising a kick-off session to make the hub happen. In this session, we want to explore with you what the hub should look like, what it can do, and who will and can do it. We’ll talk together, dream together, come up with plans and form a network to make it happen.
