Research interests
How is stress in early life linked to health? What does it do to the body? These are topics that I investigate during my PhD as part of the EarlyCause consortium (EarlyCause). By studying how early-life stress influences bodily systems, we uncover mechanisms through which it may affect mental and physical health in the long term. This will hopefully allow us to learn to prevent (the co-occurrence of) diseases and promote health.
