NOVICE - Neurological, cognitive and visual performance in HIV-infected children.

This study project seeks to evaluate the neurodevelopment of HIV-infected children as compared to healthy controls matched for age, gender, ethnicity and socio-economic status. Using extensive neuropsychological tests, multimodal neuroimaging and laboratory testing, we hope to gain insight into the pathogenic mechanisms of HIV-infection in the CNS.
