Personal profile

Research interests

I have a background in experimental work on vascular remodeling associated with altered blood flow, hypertension and atherosclerosis. Currently I focus on the role of the brain vasculature in dementia. In particular, I am interested in the perivascular pathway of brain clearance. The characteristics, its driving force, and impact of vascular pathology (hypertension, blood-brain barrier dysfunction) on this transport pathway are currently unknown and of great potential importance in the development of dementia.
