Personal profile

specialisation

Currently I am employed as a postdoctoral researcher at the department of Experimental Immunology and the department of Hematology. Our research group is the Immuno-Hematology group led by professors A.P. Kater and E. Eldering.

Before I have completed my PhD at the Transplantation laboratory of the Erasmus MC, department Internal Medicine, supervised by professor C.C. Baan and dr. K. Boer. Title of my thesis was: Clinical implications of DNA methylation for Kidney Transplantation.

Research interests

My main interests are the molecular regulation of dysfunctional T cells in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. I study this by utilizing different models of the disease in which I apply multi-omics sequencing technology.
