Personal profile
Research interests
Research is primarily aimed at improving existing and developing new imaging techniques and methods - including postprocessing, radiomics and artifical intelligence - for abdominal diseases, especially gastrointestinal diseases. This encompasses the technical development as well as the evaluation of accuracy, reproducibility, efficiency, implementation, and acceptance of new techniques and methods.
Current and future research is especially directed at the development and evaluation of:
- Imaging in Crohn disease
- MRI of gastrointestinal motility
- Imaging of colorectal liver metastases
- Advanced MR of the liver and pancreas
Also research is performed on the role of CT in pulmonary diseases.
