Research interests

My PhD research is called the VOICE study; Variations in Organization of Integrated CarE. With our research team and VOICE study group we will conduct a scoping review to see what is known about elements of organization of integrated care and their relations with maternal and neonatal outcomes, client experiences, health care professional experiences, care processes and health care costs.

Then we will conduct qualitative and quantitative research in the field of organization of maternity care, in the maternity care networks, to study the relations and underlying mechanisms of the elements of organization. Finally, we use a questionnaire to examine the implemented elements of all birth care networks in the Netherlands and use the DIAPER data set to examine hypotheses regarding the relationships of these elements with outcomes.
