Research interests

M.E.D. Chamuleau, MD PhD is an internist-hematologist with specific expertise in aggressive B-cell Non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Regarding clinical research: she is the principal investigator of 3 clinical interventional HOVON trials for patients with MYC-driven lymphoma such as double hit lymphoma and Burkitt lymphoma (HOVON 127, 130 and 152). She is also the principal investigator of 2 non-interventional HOVON studies (HOVON 900 and 902) and supervising population-based research on lymphoma in collaboration with the IKNL (PhD D. Issa).

Regarding pre-clinical research she focuses on improving immuno-chemotherapy in aggressive B-cell Non-Hodgkin lymphomas by using hexabodies and duobodies (PhD  H. van der Horst), by MYC modulation (PhD A.V. de Jonge) and response monitoring by liquid biopsies (S. Wang).
