Research the last five years has focused on identifying genes, environmental factors and their interactions that play a role in the development and progression of (complex) diseases. Although the research covered many fields including fertility, ophthalmology and neurogenetics, the main emphasis has been on outcomes in the fields of vascular medicine and cardiology.
