Research interests
The current research is related to the oncological aspects of upper GI cancer with the main interest in pancreatic and oesophageal cancer. For pancreatic cancer a nationwide organisation is being installed to organise a trial on the effects of neoadjuvant treatment with chemoradiation prior to operation.
In the benign GI surgery current research is on chronic pancreatitis, bile duct injury and achalasia
