Research interests

I am an engaged and enthousiastic researcher who wants to improve quality of life of vulnerable people, by have impact during the research process using action research, preferably by using both quantitative and (creative) qualitive research methods. I am a registered epidemiologist and trained in action research.

Currently I am involved in an action and design research aiming to improve spiritual health in communities, so that chronically ill, elderly and lonely people can find new meaning in their lives. In this project we develop training and trainig material for chaplainity workers. They train health care professionals, volunteers and social worker in their competences to signal and talk about life questions of patients and civilians living in their communities.
