Implementation of vestibular rehabilitation in chronic vertigo

Vestibular rehabilitation, an exercise-based treatment, is the preferred treatment for patients with chronic dizziness. However, vestibular rehabilitation is still underused. To increase uptake, Vertigo Training, an internet-based intervention, was developed. This online treatment was shown to be safe and effective in a large randomized controlled trial in the Netherlands. This research project aims to nationally implement Vertigo Training. We will evaluate the impact of the implementation on primary care patients with dizziness.
