Description
Major depressive disorder (MDD) and bipolar depression (BD) in adolescents and young adults are prevalent and major contributors to the global burden of disease, while effective interventions are limited. Available evidence is insufficient to assess effectiveness and tolerability of electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) in depressed adolescents and young adults.
