Prevention of Relapses with Levamisole as Adjuvant therapy to corticosteroids in children with first episode of Nephrotic Syndrome

Children with idiopathic nephrotic syndrome have a high risk of relapse after treatment with prednisolone only. The LEARNS consortium study consists of 5 workpackages: 1. RCT with combination treatment of prednisolone and levamisole or placebo. 2. HRQoL of children with INS. 3. Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of prednisolone and levamisole. 4. Immunomics & Biobank of children with INS. 5. Podocytes reserach.
