Key findings

Frome the SPIKE-study we learned that there is a high prevalence of PCHA aneurysms in elite volleyball players (4.6% among 280 elite athletes). Furthermore we should be aware and consider troutembolism from a PCHA aneurysm in overhead athletes with ischemic symptoms as an underlying disease.
