N2 - A 58-year-old female with a history of obesity, smoking and hypertension underwent shoulder arthroscopy. Prior to the arthroscopy, patient received an interscalene brachial plexus block. After the arthroscopy, patient had an oxygen saturation of 85%, caused by an unilateral diaphragm paralysis due to a phrenic nerve block.
