Abstract

Blood oxygenation measurement was conducted using optical coherence tomography (OCT) on porcine blood samples. The spectrum analysis of OCT image of blood sample depicted a change in the spectral amplitude corrosponding to the expected result based on the absorption spectra of oxygenated and reduced hemoglobin. The decay of the spectral amplitude in depth and oxygenation were found to be independent of each other.
