Abstract

The aim of assisted reproductive techniques (ART) is to assist subfertile couples to achieve a pregnancy. There is a variety of ARTs, some of which aim to overcome a specific pathologic mechanism, and others simply aim to increase conception chances without targeting a cause, for example, in unexplained subfertility.
