Abstract

In this paper we discuss four different approaches to memory rehabilitation: 1. repetitive drill and practice of memory games and memory tasks; 2. learning the patient to use mnemonic strategies; 3. learning the patient to use external memory aids; 4. learning the patient domain-specific knowledge. Attention is also given to the development and evaluation of a memory rehabilitation program.
