Abstract
Pharmacogenetics studies the relation between genetic variations and the intended and unintended effects of drugs. There are several gene-drug interactions that are clinically relevant for dermatology. Some of them are already implemented in daily practice for others the usefulness is still questioned. There are several conditions that hamper easy implementation of genotyping in daily practice.
