Description
At this second national midwifery congress, as at the first one in 2022, I was invited to speak about organization of maternity care. The organization of maternity care in the Netherlands is different from this in the Czech Republic. Thanks to a lot of efforts by Czech midwives, gynaecologists, women's organisations and the Czechgovernment, more and more work is now being done to create a maternity care system that better suits women's needs. The position of midwives in the Czech birth care system is an important point of attention here.| Period | 12 May 2023 |
