Research interests
Bethany Plain is a PhD candidate at the department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery of the Amsterdam UMC, location VU University medical center, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She also works closely with Eriksholm Research Centre of Oticon A/S, in Denmark. Her PhD focuses on investigating the cardiovascular response to effort during listening, with a longer term view to improving technology for hearing impaired listeners.
