Personal profile
Research interests
In my current research I focus on the complications of mesh surgery in vaginal implant surgery. Therefore I work on preclinical and clinical trials that study different materials and methods to ensure safe usage of vaginal implants. Furthermore, I guide students in a pilot study to satisfaction of wound healing in postpartum women, and I contribute to the EVA trial that focuses on the benefit of estriol cream in wound healing management in Pelvic Organ Prolapse surgery.
