I work on different research projects within the Netherlands Longitudinal Study on Hearing. This is a longitudinal cohort study that examines the relationships between hearing ability and different areas of life, including daily functioning, physical and psychosocial health, work, and healthcare utilization. My current research focuses on investigating the association between speech-in-noise recognition and falls.
My overall research interests include chronic disease management and prevention and the impact of chronic diseases on psychosocial health and quality of life.
