My research interests are understanding and improving physical functioning in older adults and persons who have (had) cancer.
specialisation
I have a background in human movement sciences (VU Amsterdam), a PhD in clincial exercise science in patients with hemophila. Furthermore, I have multiple years of experience regarding clinical exercise research and ehealth supported patient empowerment in the fielsd of cancer survivorship and older adults. My exercise approaches emcompass qualitatieve and quantitative methods including randomized clincial trials.
