Research output: PhD ThesisPhd-Thesis - Research and graduation internal

Abstract

The objective of the studies in this thesis is to improve the outcome of patients with pancreatic cancer and describe the use and overall survival (OS) of first and second-line systemic treatment for patients with advanced disease. In addition, factors that should be reported in future randomized controlled trials (RCTs) for patients with resectable disease are identified, facilitating better comparison between studies. Furthermore, quality of life and patient characteristics that may influence treatment allocation and outcome are evaluated.
