- This paper covers recent developments in diagnostics and treatment of patients presenting with non-ST segment elevation acute coronary syndrome.- For the diagnostic phase we focus on the role of the clinical presentation, the ECG and biomarkers.- In the acute phase, treatment mainly consists of pharmacological therapy and revascularisation; long-term treatment mainly involves pharmacological therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, and lifestyle changes
