Abstract

The authors regret an inconsistency in the reported quality of evidence for Key Question 4 concerning whether neurosurgical aspiration or excision should be used in patients with brain abscess. The reported quality of evidence was described as “low” in the abstract and Table 1 and should instead be “moderate” as stated in the main text. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
