Abstract
Displacement of the superior comu of the thyroid cartilage is a rare cause of globus. This displacement can be caused by traumatic injury to the larynx, but can also be the result of developmental disorders or can be due to asymmetric ossification of the laryngeal cartilage. In this article we describe two cases with displacement of the superior cornu of the thyroid cartilage, together with the diagnostics and treatment of this anomaly.
