Abstract

An young mother presents at your office after the sudden death of her son. He died during exercise (age 5) and she herself suffered from several syncopal exercise-related episodes in her young years. With a history like this an exercise test is mandatory for the diagnosis. The findings and the potential alternatives diagnoses are discussed.
