Abstract

A patient with pseudoxanthoma elasticum is described. Because of retinal changes dermatological analysis was performed. Histopathology showed mineralised and fragmented elastic fibers. DNA analysis was performed. The clinical features, diagnostics, pathogenesis and genetics are discussed.
