Research interests

I am interested in the molecular mechanisms that play a role in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. I am currently focusing on causes and consequences of cytoskeletal remodeling and nuclear mechanotransduction in human heart failure using patient material and animal models.

My main techniques include: protein analyis, electron microscopy, stainings (IF, DNA FISH, FFPE), live cell imaging and contractility measurements.
