Research interests
My research focusses on the psychosocial aspects of diabetes in youth and adults with type 1 diabetes. With studying the complex interaction between psychosocial factors and diabetes, throughout several developmental periods in life, my aim is to help people with diabetes and professionals achieve optimal health outcomes.
To achieve this goal, cohort studies to examine developemental trajectories as well as intervention studies are run.
