Archipelago of Ovarian Cancer Research

For ovarian cancer, unsupervised gene expression-based clustering showed that they cluster according to histological subtypes. Histological subtypes other than the high grade serous subtype are relatively rare, making them difficult to study. To minimize misclassification of rare and difficult cases, and to improve diagnostics, treatment and outcome of ovarian cancer patients, we have initiated the Archipelago of Ovarian Cancer Research, a nationwide multidisciplinary platform.
