Asl Scanner and Patient-Independent Robust Evaluation

ASPIRE will create a combined service and software solution which yields a reliable image biomarker for dementia to serve as endpoint in clinical trials and for diagnosis support. The solution will reliably quantify brain perfusion based on the non-invasive magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technique Arterial Spin Labelling (ASL). It will improve data quality, increase applicability in multicentre settings, and reduce cost compared to alternatives like positron emission tomography (PET).
