Medical Physicist Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, specialisation in MRI. Fields of expertise include MR safety, Quality Control, pulssequence programming (Siemens and GE), MR scan protocol optimization, Medical Device Regulations (EU MDR, IMDD) applied to non-CE marked research pulssequences, geometrical distortion in MR images.
Research interests
Research interests include MRI acquisition and reconstruction techniques in general, advanced and quantitative techniques such as Arterial Spin Labelling (ASL) to quantify brain perfusion, Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping, and advanced fMRI and DTI scan techniques. Other aspects of MRI related to quantification include geometrical fidelity of MR images, MR quality control. Application of advanced MR techniques for neurodegenerative diseases and cancer.
